MINISTRY EXPERIENCE

SPIRITUAL FOCUS

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Grit.Church exists to grow people through spiritual community. Our internship program is intended to grow a new generation of leaders who will charge a hill with us and fight the fight that matters.

We will expose you to great leadership in action. We will provide hands on experiences that will shape your future ministry mindset. We will equip you with powerful teaching and give you the best chance to succeed in a lifetime of service in God's Kingdom.

AREAS OF GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

Next Generation Ministry

Our Next Generation ministry team provides love, care, engagement, training, and affirmation to children from birth to high school. We have two areas of ministry that focus on age specific ministry. FLIP Student Ministries for middle to high school students and gKids for birth to 5th grade. We will challenge you to dive head-first into your calling. Your involvement in this ministry will give you opportunity to create organization skills, improve your communication, stretch your creativity, lead volunteers, and form deep meaningful relationships with your team.

We will develop you to become an effective leader by helping you to become a creative problem-solver and a good steward of your time and resources. We will disrupt your preconceived ideas of what an internship is about and challenge you to live outside of your comfort zone. This isn’t your average, hum-drum, everyday, ordinary internship. We won’t ask you to pick up our dry cleaning or run and get our morning coffee every day. We are talking real hands-on training with real leadership opportunities.

DigiGrit Team

Responsible for the presentation of our mission and ministry through digital, print, and live media formats. The people who make up this team are digitally talented and understand the value of excellence. Their responsibilities will include all graphic designs, motion graphics, video, photography, print materials, merch printing, website, social media, and anything else that falls into the digital world of ministry.

Digital talent is a lot like musical talent. Sometimes grandma told you something was good and it really wasn’t. You must have a good sense of self awareness and be willing to take feedback in this area of ministry. Feedback could potentially hurt your feelings if you’re not the right fit for this type of work. This area of ministry is our visual reach to our community. It has to be on a level that is compelling, professional, and inside our brand standards. It is critical to our outreach and messaging to the world around us.

If you believe that a font can change a persons emotional state you might be a fit for DigiGrit. If you are lucky enough to join this team, you will have to have a really deep love for forward thinking, straight talk, and 80's rock music.

Worship

Our worship team must be of the humblest heart with a passion to lead people into the presence of an almighty God. Your number one responsibility is to lift the room. You must understand that people need to be lead into worship and never left feeling like they just experienced a performance. Our worship music experience at Grit.Church is one of the most important ministries we have. People need to connect to the Holy Spirit while in a corporate worship setting. While the quality of giftedness is important, not everyone who can sing or play an instrument will be invited to be on this team. If you think you have what it takes to join a team of passionate humble hearts with a gifted talent of music, be ready to have your world rocked and your mindset shifted. We want to develop the next generation of worship leaders for the capital C church.

Ninja Ops

Are you ready to be a Ninja? Do you love the details and the work that goes on behind the scenes? Our Ninja Ops team includes multiple teams in one. Count Team, Operations Team, Setup Team, Prayer Team, and Follow Up Team are all vital aspects of church health and growth. You will be able to see how a church functions from the inside out. This is not your ordinary church and therefore this won't be an ordinary team. You will find fulfillment as we encourage you to take on new challenges and new ideas for church functionality. This team will push you and increase your logistical stamina in every way.

Host Team

We focus outward in our ministry at Grit.Church. The Host Team is our most important ministry at our weekend service for connecting with people who walk in the door. Our team consists of greeters, ushers, hospitality, and team leaders. The energy of a weekend service starts with this team. We will take you to a whole new level of hosting at church. You'll gain insights about why we do every little thing from donuts to dollars. When you spend time learning how to hold a door and the why, you will have a deeper understanding of the big picture of God's kingdom. This isn't going to be your standard bulletin passing smile ministry. You better be ready to bring it!

Tech Crew

This is the rubber meets the road team. They are responsible for the live presentation of the weekend service.

Sound Technicians - This is a high skills role with experience. Someone who has a humble spirit and an ear for the best sound possible while listening to and working with all musicians, singers, and speaking team.

Media Technicians - This is a medium skills role but can be taught with no experience. Someone who understands the flow of music and transitions in a worship service. Someone who doesn’t get flustered under pressure.

Lights Technicians - This is a medium skills role but can be taught with no experience. Someone who understands atmosphere of a room and the intensity of which a worship song can impact the very soul of a person.

We will throw you in the deep water here and give you ownership as fast as you can prove yourself. We will stretch your creativity in presentation ideas and let you play a large role in making a weekend service feel connected and uplifting with excellence.

We encourage anyone from ages 18–24 to apply for Grit Internships and there are no educational requirements.
